To set up a Defence Research and Innovation Centre as a globally recognized hub for cutting-edge research, advanced Defence technologies, and national security solutions, contributing to India’s self-reliance in Defence innovation
1. To foster innovation in Defence technology through interdisciplinary research and collaboration with academia, industry, and government organizations.
2. To develop indigenous solutions for critical national security challenges, aligning with the “Make in India” initiative.
3. To provide world-class training and education to prepare the next generation of Defence researchers and innovators.
4. To establish partnerships with national and international Defence organizations for knowledge sharing and joint development.
5. To ensure sustainable, ethical, and high-quality research practices in Defence and strategic technologies.
